With pressure and encouragement from my freshman English professor, I reluctantly became a writing tutor in 2018. I thought, "a job's a job," and started learning how to tutor. I never expected to become enthralled by writing, what it means to write clearly, and how writing is changing with the times. At the Writing Center, I found that I loved helping people through writing.

However, I struggled to leave my love of broadcasting and the associated technology behind to pursue writing. That's when I started the Technical and Professional Writing certificate at Central Michigan University. 

 

Things grew from there. I polished my communication skills and continued to learn about technology. I finished my certificate and started a technical writing internship. I earned a full-time offer at the conclusion of my internship.

 

Now, I'm here, still learning about creating stellar content through writing while crafting technical content myself. I am always pursuing growth personally and professionally.
